We are the only store in Western North Carolina with complete in-house musical instrument repair facilities. History

John Moritz founded Musician’s Workshop®  in 1967, selling pianos and organs as well as guitars, banjos, and band instruments. Moritz stressed service to the customer before and after the sale. It was in these early weeks that I was employed by Moritz. After graduating from college, I became store manager, and three years later my wife Becky and I, purchased the company. The name and our direction I feel are a progression from the foundation established by Moritz in the beginning.
