Held outdoors Sunday afternoon at Highland Brewing, music on the stage sponsored by Musician’s Workshop was by local bluegrass band the Sons of Ralph and featured an appearance by Ralph Stanley.
From maple bacon doughnuts and bacon caramel corn to pork belly creations and bacon infused beer, Bacon Fest Asheville, presented by 105.9FM The Mountain, was a celebration of all things swine. Chefs from some of Asheville’s best restaurants will showcased their culinary creations using bacon or pork and competed in categories including sweet and savory plus “The Most Outrageous Use of Bacon/Pork” and “Best Overall Dish”.
