We’re participating with local Apple specialist CityMac to bring you the GarageBand Singer Songwriter Contest. Fill out a simple form and upload your own musical creation for a chance to win some great prizes, play live and hear your song on the radio! The winner gets:
- Apple 13″ MacBook Pro Laptop with Logic Express Software
- Taylor acoustic/electric guitar and a Shure USB microphone from Musician’s Workshop
- Chance to play live as opening act on April 10th at MoDaddy’s
- Record your song at Western Carolina University and receive a final mixed recording
- 98.1 The River plays your song in regular rotation
All entries must be in GarageBand format – if you don’t have access to GarageBand then head on over to CityMac any time between noon and 3PM or 6PM and 8PM Monday through Friday and they’ll be glad to record your track for you. You must be 18 to enter, and you can only enter once. Originalsinger/songwriter/soloist entries only. Click here for the submission form.
The final deadline for submitting your entry is March 28th, 2010. Be sure to get yours in by then.
